Z anglického resumé:
The monography Slavic sentence offers a complex inquiry into the simple sentence in the present-day Slavic languages. It belongs to the semantically and pragmatically oriented syntactic studies. The aim of the contrastive analysis presented is to find major similarities and differences between Slavic languages, especially categorial ones, which result from a similar or, on the contrary, different linguistic grasping of reality in the respective languages.

This book consists of three parts. The first part brings an analysis of the simple sentence and its structure, the second and third parts deal with functional sentence perspective and related phenomena.
