Linguistically structured Database of Language Enquiries provides access to the enquiries received and processed by the Language Consulting Service of the Czech Language Institute. Both laymen and experts can use the database to learn about the whole spectre of language problems the enquiries concern. It also possible to search the enquiries according to various criteria (for example language aspects or keywords) in a user-friendly environment. The database is an open and gradually updated tool that reflects the development of Czech language not from the more common perspective of linguists compiling language reference sources but from the perspective of the language users and enquirers. The database also records and tracks new or problematic language issues. It is designed to map the first occurence and further existence of such issues.

As the database is regularly updated, the data can be exploited for creating language codification. Furthermore, it is the only scientifically designed source of data that track the dvelopment of Czech language from the perspective of its users. It is also the source of highest available reliability in documenting this development.
The database was funded by the Ministry Culture within the programme National Cultural Identity (Národní kulturní identita – NAKI) II) and project Lingustically Structured Database of Enquiries from the Language Consulting Centre (Zpřístupnění dotazů jazykové poradny v lingvisticky strukturované databázi), ID: DG16P02B009).
